HOW TO ENJOY AXE THROWING BAR

    JAAT Certificate STAFF will explain the rules and the safety policies, so please pay attention and enjoy AXE THROWING®︎ safely!

  2. step 2

    Throw the axe together with the JAAT Certificate STAAF! They will give instructions on how to throw an axe!

  3. step 3

    You can play games with your friends or other guests, or you are welcome to practice on your own! You can also throw axes while munching on snacks or with a beer in hand! Enjoy your time at THE AXE THROWING BAR®︎!

IS THERE AN AGE LIMIT?
Anyone is welcome! However, if you are under 16 years of age, you must be accompanied by a parent or guardian who joins the group.
WHAT SHOULD I WEAR?
Any clothing is OK. However, if you are not wearing closed-toe shoes, we ask you to change into safety shoes.
CAN I BRING IN FOOD/DRINKS?
You are not allowed to bring in food and drinks. We sell pizza and other foods and offer a wide variety of beverages, including beer, cocktails, and soft drinks, so please order from our menu.
DO YOU OFFER WALK-INS?
Yes, we do offer walk-ins. However, we might ask you to wait depending on our available slots, so we encourage people to make a reservation.
CAN I TAKE PHOTOS AND VIDEOS?
You can take photos and videos if it's during your session and doesn't bother other guests. Please contact us if you need to take pictures outside of our opening hours, or if you need to reserve the room privately or other special arrangements.
CAN I BRING IN MY OWN AXE OR KNIFE?
Bringing axes, knives, etc. is not allowed for safety reasons. However, if you have a certificate issued by the Japan Axe Throwing Association, you are allowed to bring your own certified axe. Please inquire with the AXE THROWING BAR®︎, sister store REEAST ROOM, and other licensed store staff if you wish to have your certificate issued.
IS AXE THROWING®︎ SAFE? I'M WORRIED ABOUT INJURIES
If it's your first time throwing axes, our Japan Axe Throwing Association ®︎(JAAT) certified staff will teach you how to enjoy AXE THROWING®️ safely and correctly, so there is no need to worry. In North America, tournaments are broadcast on ESPN, a sports channel that broadcasts sports such as the NBA, and it is an established sport that can be enjoyed safely.
HOW CAN I PARTICIPATE TO THE EVENT/TOURNAMENT?
Information is posted on JAAT's official SNS, THE AXE THROWING BAR®️ Asakusa's SNS, and other official media of JAAT member stores. Basically, tournaments and other events are in order of application, so please follow us on SNS.
WHAT IS THE MAXIMUM GROUP SIZE?
We limit the number of guests to a maximum of 5 people per lane. So, please make a reservation for a maximum of 5 persons per group. For example, if you have a group of 8 people, please split your reservation into two groups of 5 and 3 people.
